Spalding Western Relief Road

Robert Gibson tells me how he has been fighting in the Council to get the important Spalding Western Relief Road finished. There have always been massive congestion issues in Spalding, and I remember this well having worked there, the same issues we have at Boston too.

We need a joined up approach across the whole county to fix the road and infrastructure problems.

Our A roads, including the A16, A15, A17, and A52, are congested, yet they are the arteries of our county. This is why I will set up a Transport For Greater Lincolnshire board with all key decision makers, just like the transport body that they have in the City of London. It's time we worked together and got Lincolnshire moving. But this can only be done if we root out wastage of taxpayers' money to release funds to invest.
