Visit to Branston Ltd

Today I welcomed Anita Katial, Agricultural Counselor at the US Foreign Agricultural Service, to Greater Lincolnshire.

We began at Branston Ltd where we saw first hand how a Lincolnshire business is leading the way in food manufacturing and innovation. At Riseholme we met some of the brilliant agri tech and robotics companies shaping the future of farming, including B Hive Innovations, HarvestEye, FruitCast, Agaricus Robotics and SmartFert.

We also heard from major employers in our food and seafood sectors such as Pilgrim’s Europe and Hilton SeaChill, who are helping to drive growth, skills and investment across our region.

Together they showed the depth of talent, ambition and opportunity we have here in Greater Lincolnshire.

Greater Lincolnshire is open for business, ambitious for growth and ready to work with global partners.
