As Mayor of Greater Lincolnshire, I will uphold the Armed Forces Covenant and make sure that our service personnel, veterans, and their families get the respect and support they deserve. Lincolnshire has a proud military history, with key RAF bases like Waddington and Coningsby, and I am committed to ensuring that those who have served our country are never disadvantaged.
I will push for priority NHS treatment for veterans, better mental health support, and real action on veteran housing and employment. I will work to expand Homes for Heroes, making sure more veterans have access to affordable housing, and drive investment in retraining programs under my Lincolnshire Defence and Innovation Cluster to create more jobs in defence, security, and high-tech industries
Supporting military families is just as important. I will work with local councils and businesses to honour the Covenant in practice, ensuring military families get fair treatment in education, healthcare, and housing. I will also champion our military heritage, fighting for proper funding to protect the history and legacy of those who have served.
Our veterans and armed forces community have given so much for this country—it’s time we delivered for them
