Yesterday, I had a great meeting with the Chairman of MakeUK_ the trade body that represents the manufacturing, steel and defence industry sectors.

I look forward to strengthening this relationship and working with the businesses across Lincolnshire.

We must again build and manufacture more here in Britain instead of countries like China. And as Mayor, I am committed to turbo charging manufacturing here in our county.

I am working on a plan to support innovation, invest in our skills, infrastructure and create an environment so people and businesses can thrive for generations.
