Investing in our care workers

This afternoon, I had the pleasure of meeting Melanie Weatherley MBE of the Care Association Alliance. I look forward to working with her and commit to investing in skills and support for our unsung heroes in the care sector.

With an ageing and expanding population, having the right people and trained workforce is vital. We also need to pay our carers more and will be lobbying the government on this.
