What a fantastic week across Lincolnshire!

I’ve had the privilege of meeting some incredible businesses and inspiring individuals who make our county thrive.

- Leonardo Defence in Lincoln – A brilliant visit to see the cutting-edge work being done to keep our nation safe.

- Hull4Heroes – Amazing charity work supporting our veterans. Truly humbling.

On Tuesday, I headed south to South Holland:

Met Steve and the team at World Wide Fruit, who are doing outstanding work in the food sector.

Dropped in on PSP IT Ltd in Pinchbeck, delivering innovative IT solutions.

Then across to Grantham to visit Vaculug, a proud 75-year-old family business leading the way in tyre retreading.

This week, I was delighted to welcome Tiwong to the Combined Authority team – a passionate, creative thinker who will bring fresh ideas to the table.

Up north in the County, I visited:

The George Hotel in Kirton Lindsey – a fantastic local business, and is in one of our very beautiful market towns.

Then on to meet businesses in Ashby and Brigg, all showing the entrepreneurial spirit that makes Lincolnshire great.

Today, I had a truly inspiring meeting with the Head Teacher of Queen Elizabeth Grammar School in Gainsborough. I am proud of our grammar school system and will always fight to ensure it is preserved.

Later, I joined a Zoom call with Minister Lord Stockwood to discuss investment and my development plans for Lincolnshire – exciting opportunities ahead!

Finally, we rounded off the week with our team Christmas lunch.

Lincolnshire is full of talent, innovation, and community spirit – and I’m proud to champion it every day. Greater Lincolnshire CCA
